Victoria University of Wellington – Online Presentations

June 7, 2020

Come along to a digital information session

We are hosting a two-part series of digital information sessions for prospective students. The first part will provide students with an introduction to the University, and information about our degrees, student life, accommodation, and scholarships.

In the first part of the series, there are three sessions to choose from:

  • Wednesday 10 June, 6–7 pm
  • Thursday 11 June, 6–7 pm
  • Tuesday 23 June, 6–7 pm

These digital information sessions will introduce students to life and study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. As well as polls and live Q&A, the sessions will include information about:

  • The student experience at Victoria University of Wellington and your capital city as a study destination.
  • Study areas, degree structure, and admission and enrolment.
  • Accommodation, scholarships and student services.

Students can register online to receive access details.

The second part of the series will focus on subject areas, and will be hosted by academics from our faculties. These subject information sessions will be held on Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July. We will announce details of the subject area information sessions closer to the time.

Open Day update

In light of the current situation, we are adapting our approach to our Open Day on Friday 21 August. We will have our new plans finalised by July 1, and we will be sure to inform you of the programme for the day.

At this stage, we are planning to offer a mixed delivery of events, with some events taking place on campus, alongside a range of sessions online for those who cannot travel to Wellington. As the current situation is ever-changing, we would advise students to wait until July 1 to make travel plans.
